Issue Nine of Radical Featuring Iris Orpi – November/December 2018

Autumn is here and I am loving this season more than ever. It’s been a wild summer full of great and awful things. Great things like my brother’s wedding and awful things like my fractured foot. Now is the time to release summer and relax into a season of doing less, of reflecting on the past year, and preparing for hibernation as we walk into winter.

In this issue you will meet three new artists, Erika Reyes, Irene Lam, and Wendy Rodriguez, all of whom I met at the San Diego Zine Fest last September. I’m stoked to share their messages of self-care, transformation, and humor. Returning contributors include Iris Orpi, Inisa Fajra and Jasmine Farrell.

There is also a new section celebrating the accomplishments, services and products of all contributors, including books, zines, and well being.

I hope you’re enjoying each issue of Radical. I put a lot of work into editing, formatting and promoting each issue. I love meeting new artists, connecting with regular contributors and sharing so much creativity and self-care with all of you!

Radical Peace: The May/June Issue

Summer is here and I am feeling rejuvenated. During my 8 months of traveling I realized that changes in my life and work were necessary. One of those changes was to improve Radical. I really want this zine to be successful in it’s mission of encouraging self-care practices and promoting independent artists.
The most obvious change is switching to a bi-monthly format. This will give me more time to promote the zine and increase the content. Thank you for reading Radical. I hope it inspires you to live your truth. The theme this issue is peace and includes work by Iris Orpi. You can download the new issue on my Patreon page.

Update: April Issue of Radical

Because of my trip to Costa Rica and my need to rejuvenate my heart and soul, there will not be an issue of Radical for April this year. Radical will resume publication in May! In the meantime, if you want some radical inspiration, check out these previous and regular contributors to the zine.
